This is a web app you install from the browser – there is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.
How notifications reach your phone
Android
Open this page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Samsung Internet and tap Turn on notifications. They arrive as normal system notifications, even when the browser is closed. For an app icon, choose Install app / Add to Home screen from the browser menu.
iPhone & iPad (iOS 16.4 or newer)
In Safari tap Share → Add to Home Screen, open the app from the new icon and then tap Turn on notifications. They show up on the lock screen and in Notification Center like any other app.
Good to know
- Your browser creates an anonymous push address for this device. We store it encrypted and link it to your account only if you are signed in.
- Agenda reminders (“starts in 10 minutes”) require an account, so we know which sessions you starred. Sign in if you want them.
- On iPhone and iPad, add the app to your home screen first (Share → Add to Home Screen), then enable notifications from there.
- Prefer e-mail? Switch on “E-mail me event announcements” under Your data & consent.
